THE AIM FUTURE CITY AWARD
(THE FUTURE GOVERNMENT AWARD)

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahiwabarakatuh &

Greetings from Putrajaya.

As the City of Putrajaya celebrates its Silver Jubilee this year, Perbadanan Putrajaya is extremely honoured to be receiving the AIM Future City Award under the category of The Future Government Award. As a young and progressive city, this is indeed a great honour for us.

We are earnestly grateful for the recognition we received for our submission – the OSC 3.0 Monitoring System, as we are certain that every other nominee for this award was as capable of winning the award.

This is the first international award won by OSC 3.0 Monitoring System. Prior to this, the system has received various awards in Malaysia since 2018 namely:

a. President’s Award at Malaysia Institute of Planners for Planning Excellence in 2018;
b. Gold Award for Regional Team Excellence 2019 by Malaysia Productivity Corporation;
c. 5-Star Gold Award at The Annual Productivity & Innovation Conference exposition (APIC) 2019; and
d. Winner of The Public Sector Category at APIC 2019.
Since the implementation of this system in late 2017,

Perbadanan Putrajaya is confident that the system can progress extensively in terms of its operation and implementation. With this system;

a. We are able to keep track within a short span of time construction of buildings in Putrajaya from planning to completion;
b. Access to and dissemination of information 24/7 from anywhere;
c. 100% of work related to development approval and monitoring can
be conducted online; and last but not least
d. Perbadanan Putrajaya and other related parties are able to save MYR 4.8 million per annum.
The system is also recognized by Ministry of Housing & Local Government of Malaysia (MHLG) as the only system that conforms to their development tracing procedure. As such, this system has served as the
basis of implementation of MHLG online system throughout Malaysia. The AIM Future City Award that we receive today is also a recognition to Perbadanan Putrajaya for our efforts in developing Putrajaya into a smart city by the year 2025. Our Smart Putrajaya Blueprint underlines 93 smart initiatives in which the implementation has commenced since 2018.

Perbadanan Putrajaya would like to thank again The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), the World’s Leading Investment Platform for this prestigious award and we look forward to winning more awards in the future.
